Super Thanks!

Thanks to everyone that made our show on Saturday a fantastic time! Sooper Dooper thanks to Danny Shea and the ballroom for having us, to Ki Theory and the Fiery Furnaces for playing with us, to Andy and DJ for their skills at the board, and to Joe for taping the whole darn thing!
Hopefully soon we'll have a recording for all you die hard fans, plus maybe some pictures (I foolishly forgot to bring my camera!).

The first prototype of the Alphabet War cd holder is almost complete- I'll post pics when it's done, and poll everybody for possible changes/improvements.

two-thousand great!

Happy new year everyone!!!

We just wanted to thank everybody for coming out to our show at the Outback Lodge! Special thanks to Thomas and Thrashley for joining us onstage for one of our new jams. Also, thanks to Brad for having us and putting on a great show with Worn in Red, to Nick and the Horsefang dudes for capping off our night perfectly, and to Johnny and the Unholy Four for totally slaying their first show.

I forgot to mention earlier, but thanks to our good friend John Ruscher, who talked with us before the show and printed our goofy conversation in the C-ville!

And thanks for taking pictures, Caity! I'll soon post a few here on the blog and get everything up on our photos page.

Don't forget- we'll be back at the Outback with A Cosmonaut's Ruin on Jan. 10th, so don't miss it!

UPCOMING SHOWS!!!!

Hey good folks of the worm,

We've got a couple shows coming up, both at the Outback Lodge. The first will be Dec.28th, in the basement, with our friends Worn in Red, Horsefang, and The Unholy Four. It's Brad's annual pre-new year's bash, so definitely come out, especially if you've never seen the basement of the Outback!

The second show is on Jan.10, upstairs, with our slaying buddies A Cosmonaut's Ruin. So put it on your calenders!

I've been busy designing our handmade cds and trying to get the studio up and running. We've got a new song, currently named "the march of the lowercase", which is coming together quite well.

I don't think we'll have anything for sale by the 28th, but who knows, right?

Also, can anyone give me some tips on doing Lino-cuts?

brewing good stuff

Hey y'all!
So we've been practicing, writing, and planning some basement recording. I'm about to buy some cables to hook up the Mackie to the MOTU box. Pricey stuff!

Anyway, we're always looking for weekend shows after 10:30ish, so if you want to set something up, just hit us up on myspace.

Also, still looking for a good tutorial for Digital Performer. Any suggestions?

brewing songs + thursday at DUST

Hey all, we've been cooking up a few new tunes. One, called Sassy Skeleton, is gonna be a killer, and we worked on another one tonight called Luigi Bored.
Minus a few cables, I think we've got everything we need to record in the basement, except for the how-to, I guess. Anybody out there have a manual for Digital Performer 4.something?

Oh, and everybody should go to Dust to see Worn in Red and A Cosmonaut's Ruin this Thursday. I have to be at work by midnight, but you can be sure I'll be there for some of the show.
